Why wouldn’t you want to help your daughter if you’re such a caretaker? Why wouldn’t you be worried about your OWN child

And then when they get custody, they keep it even if their daughter ditches the abuser
&they always insist the grandkids call them mom and dad. The psychology is fucked up.

As a low income weed smoker with a messy house, probable ADHD, and a mad parent whose main interest for decades seemed to be disappointment in, and disapproval of, my life choices, I definitely feel this one.

Family dynamics are so fucked up, so often. Like I had a fucking TOUGH childhood but I still thank my fucking lucky stars because I look at some of these family law cases and it’s like Jesus fucking Christ
