That RAF tanker back then was prob just doing Air-to-air training for the Qatari Typhoons. Are you saying the UK knew the Israelis were coming because that tanker was there?

The latter seems likely. The Israeli air strike did happen; their aircraft did need refueling. The UK tanker happened to be in the right place at the right time.
