The most I can apologise for is for kind of ripping the bandaid off with my own experience and observations of him. I know people keep getting tired of the artists they look up to falling from grace. No one would blame you for keeping the art if it means something special to you.

If anything, I've always tried to adopt an "art vs. artist" attitude on subjects like this. Like, enjoy the work they've put out even if you acknowledge they're not a good person.

True, I think that works for someone still alive only for past work. You have old work before you knew everything and now you know, it's now an informed/active decision for anything future. That's how I see it.
