I feel pretty certain we're gonna lose our global reserve currency over this, and then we really won't be able to buy all this shit. We're gonna have to actually pay off all our foreign debt.

That seems likely. Americans have NO idea how we got rich or why we are rich. Now we will find out but most will never accept it. What they imagine about wealth is something completely different than reality. It is a signal of worth. It is a 'reward' for something. It can be acquired by pure will.

And if it doesn't happen it's a testament to the power of the global corporate oligarchy and their willingness to put profits above human suffering at all costs. Which everyone should see as pure straight hell on earth evil.
