In order to stay sane, I've been playing around in Beepbox making chiptunes for a year or so. Finally made something that felt fairly complete, though I imagine I'll change it as I become more competent.

Beepbox looks like something fun to mess around with.
I nabbed Lovely Composer a while back. Same idea but has a cutesy sprite interface veneer similar to Mario Paint.

Nice! Beepbox is a fantastic little piece of software. I dont know much about music and stuff like garage band and fruitloops is like trying to read a foreign language. I need Mario Paint composer level interface. But still can mess with wave forms.
