Yeah, somebody who learned how to do digital art is going to be able to transition that skill onto pen and paper. They'll struggle with the differences, and will miss the benefits that come with digital. But you do not start from square one.

Put a slopper on a beach without an algorithm and they can’t do jack shit except yell ideas at the artist drawing in the sand with a stick and hope they don’t just get a bird finger for their troubles.
