Before the war in Iran, the average driver in the US spent around $1,900 a year on gas. We spend about $320 to power our EV by charging at home.

Bonus: Our EV can also power our house during a blackout. (a lot of EVs have bidirectional charging capability.)

I don’t think people know you can drive around with an extension cord that can attach your car to any wall outlet and wait for a charge. Its easier to find a working outlet then it is to find gasoline. It may take a while to charge but you won’t be stranded.

Hell of a difference, why have we replaced new auto manufacturing in states,cities that lost massive auto manufacturing yet ! Ohio etc.
