Trump's solution to COVID numbers, reiterated many times so we knew it wasn't an accident, was "just stop testing." That's the mentality behind this: "Out of sight, out of mind. Get back to work, peasants!"

It wont look like anything if you dont report on it. He's trying to take the "i dont see it!" Route, and will point to lack of evidence because COVID response basically made him lose the election. He's bitter about it so hes throwing q tantrum
