Graveyard Keeper very recently listed their first game for free on Steam to generate hype/attention for the brand as they announced their sequel - even though the DLC for Game 1 still costs full price ($40+ for all).

Now it’s more obvious - they want to profit off AI slop. “Lazy” Bear games indeed.

Recently a game I like (past tense maybe?) came back from a few years of hiatus with new art that's very blatantly Generative AI. I haven't been able to bring myself to touch it since. Can't wait for the bubble to burst.

Sucks to have to bring this us to friends I know who are excited about a free game. But this is scummy feeling. The dev seems to be all in on LLM’s coding games, no trust the sequel will not be a lazy game made without a lot of human input :/
