Those themselves aren't that much of an issue, and don't really contribute to wear unless there is operator error, because those parts are only sliding when power is interrupted (unless operator error, or intentional abuse such as no-lift-shifting).

I think the main issue is that this kind of wear is heavily user dependent. Someone who is driving calmly and never pushing the vehicle or abusing it will probably never have a related issue, while someone who does will probably run into it before long.
