tbh I still feel I get more enjoyment out of reading this short review of the first Mario movie than I do out of watching most full-length films

Reminds me of that one The Last Airbender showing where a bunch of people showed up dressed as Kyoshi Warriors and ended up taking off the costumes in the middle of the showing because they werenโ€™t in the film

the mental image is hilarious because what was this guy imagining? Funky Kong would show up and he'd be able to pop off in the audience like 'heyyyy that's me!!'?

Look, he took a big gamble, but if it had paid off it would have been amazing. He should go to every movie dressed as Funky Kong just in case.
