There may be many things worth criticizing about capitalism but claiming capitalism and fascism are the same thing is complete nonsense.

You're not wrong on that, I guess what I'm getting at is that capitalism in that regard is necessary but not sufficient for a country to go fascist... It just came across to me like you were implying EVERY capitalist society is "fascist" which would just be silly and kind of extreme IMO.
