Saving money, reducing congestion and easing pressure on fuel stocks is woke.

Our donors insist that no action should be taken to reduce demand. That's why we're subsidising swing voters to keep chugging 91, 95 and diesel.

It’s doesn’t need to be permanent, just give people a taste of public transit & relief from fuel prices. Yes at the moment our supply is ok, but we need to wind back our fuel use NOW so we maintain reserves for when/if supply isn’t ok.

Instead here in Auckland we’re shutting it all down for Easter.

I wish this was the last public holiday that we have no train services, but they have got so used to shutting people out for maintenance

It needs to be permanent and there should be a riot when they want to put the fares back on.

Public transport does not make money anyway. Scrap fares, free transport for anyone who wants it.
