The reporting around this is atrocious. Starmer does not have the power to do much yet is portrayed as complicit... Sadly, so much of our defence and intelligence is intertwined. The US is using airbase it owns. Denying access to their own bases is ridiculous

We can close our airspace, like France/Spain/Italy/Austria/Nordic States etc and not participate at all in an illegal war, uwanted by US/UK citizens.

We have much more ties to the US militarily and economically than any other country in the world
The special relationship is an abusive dependence. They own much of the UK and many also need the US trade. Sadly we are the worst placed nation to stand up to US esp. post privatisation and Brexit
