Now the Republicans can proudly go home and tell all of their hungry constituants that they bravely fought until the Democrats caved and they were able to give them their SNAP benefits back! It won't really even be a lie. Goddamn it.

It is s lie? They didn’t fight. They’re probably not going to put the SNAP benefits back. They don’t care about their poor supporters, only the rich ones.

Is it? They held out against the Democrats who have been holding up funding according to Republicans. Democrats just proved them right by caving and getting SNAP funding back. Democratic leadership responded by not explaining and being condescending. Republicans won.
