There is no way in hell I would ever move to Texas.

would not either. Not in 100 years. But I just read 60% of the population are people of color Blacks asians Muslims Jews Latino X and indigenous. And all the Caucasians aren't all Republicans. It's the white Christian nationalist who are spending billions to keep their minority in control

Hell, I won't even visit there.

I made my last trip down there in 2005. Some idiot in a Hummer was waving a gun to merge into traffic.

Telecons after that. Texas is a shithole country.

I moved to Austin and found it so foul, especially the drivers, that I moved back to Chicago cuz I thought it was a safer choice and it was, especially if you have kids.

My brother-in-law had an option of moving to Austin Texas for his job or lose it and he said absolutely the fuck not for the safety of my sister and their (then) unborn child.

I!d be too scared to go there. It means all Texans are allowed to own and carry assault weapon.

It was common courtesy to let me merge! Lol.
Don’t count Texas out. These loudmouth assholes are on the ropes.

Texas is 45% democratic. After this redistricting bullshit, that’s higher.
We are here, you just can’t hear us.
Texas is the leading green energy producer, in spite of hostile words.

I’ll never visit USA again, let alone live there, precisely because of all the un/hinged people with guns, it’s just so scary how people can live surrounded by so much potential violence every single day.

Maybe GOP leaders might change their tune if some of these unhinged shooters came their way.

I’ve wondered when someone gets the idea, after another school shooting, a roomful of elected Republicans in some state meets a despondent fatalist w/ an AR.
Now THAT would be original.

Thoughts and prayers?
Meet payback’s a bitch.

I'm glad I dodged that bullet, (no pun intended). I'm British, and before Trump's first term, I was given the opportunity to relocate to my company's Houston office. They even flew me over for a look around. I said thanks, but no thanks (and for the record I'm a white European).

Some asshole wannabe fake cops in Houston didn’t dodge the bullets.

But I understand. The fight is going to get very real here. Texas Republicans have joined with white nationalists, and they are halfway to murderous fascism already. There will be blood.

You know how when you enter a state you'll see a big sign saying " Welcome to *insert state here*"?

I drove into Texas from Oklahoma. The first sign i saw was a huge billboard advertising a XXX Porn shop

Yeah, yeah, keep it up…
Texas is 45% democrat, and 60% multicultural. After this racist, white nationalist redistricting that pissed everyone off, 2026 may very well flip TX blue. But we have to start fighting every day, right now.

TX is the largest green energy producer, even now.
