But think of all the cool things that do NOT happen here but somewhere else. It's the same case of coincidences, for example dreaming about somebody and later meeting them. You just won't remember all the times you dreamt somebody and didn't meet them. We only pay attention to exceptional cases,

and gleefully ignore the common ones, the ones that aren't of notable exception. Humanity works like journalism. You'll see the news of that horrible car accident the other day, but you'll never read about all the days without car accidents.
Or when a terminal cancer patient "miraculously" heals

and people call it the work of some divinity, conveniently forgetting all the terminal cancer patient that do NOT heal.
No god exist, humans just have very selective memory regarding exceptional events and coincidences.
