Just a follow up to @dosnostalgic.bsky.social's thread about islamophobia peddling grifter Jesse "TechJesse" Petrilla who's been trying to make a name recently. He has started using a sock puppet account on other social media platforms to try and hide who he is.

I confronted him about it.

Thanks for continuing to advertise my channel Ron! I prefer to keep politics out of the hobby, which is why I don't discuss politics on my channel (YT @ TechJesse). But I obviously do not hide my political views in other areas, nor should you or anyone else, which I respect. Have a nice day!

You don't discuss your beliefs, but you absolutely use sock puppet accounts to promote yourself -because you know that if more people knew about your reactionary political beliefs (which you're proud to profit from) they wouldn't work with you.

No one should work with you.

Disingenuous and smarmy is a hell of a response.

I know people who absolutely would never have done interviews with you about the “hobby” if they’d known about the bullshit you promote elsewhere.

There’s a difference between “keeping it separate” and taking advantage of trust, and you know that.
