Are there alternatives to Microsoft's options?

Of course there's OpenOffice, I use that mostly since I don't have a personal desktop license for Word. I have cloud access to Microsoft 365 through work, and so I use that sometimes for work things, but I have to tell you, the cloud version of PowerPoint is atrocious (nothing to do with Copilot)!

Be careful – OpenOffice is no longer getting updated, and has multiple unfixed security issues over a year old: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_OpenOffice href="/search?t=posts&q=Security">#Security – All development has moved to the successor projects (LibreOffice being the most active).
