If you want to find all the waste, fraud, and abuse the GOP goes on about constantly, you don't need to look further than all the Republicans that get appointed to important positions and then grift as much as they can.

if you care about discussions on college campuses and are not of college age it'd better be about cfb. if it is not, it's almost certainly because you are a huge conservative loser who couldn't get his dick wet in college and is still mad about it

I am a college professor and I couldn't care less about "discussions on campus" that aren't about the classroom, this has always been transparently about finding a cudgel to use against people conservatives hate (girls that won't sleep with them)

1. Anyone (like Sasse) who reduces the value of freedom of speech to a single thing is missing the point of freedom. Free speech brings about multiple good things, or rather, it brings about the opportunity for them. AMONG those good things are truth, culture, democracy, beauty, and autonomy.

2. I have only once in my life encountered someone who literally equated a certain style of communication with literal violence, and that person was a literal idiot. Certainly communication can have a powerful emotional impact on its own, but nearly everyone understands what a damn metaphor is.
