I think it's funny when games make bruteforce methods cumbersome and time consuming, but the person kinda doesn't realize it's made that way to kinda hint that there are alternatives.

I think Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Tales of, Kingdom Hearts, Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest, and Pokemon are some titles that come to mind that I think people brute forced and walked away unhappy. Those come to mind right away and some of those games did change to help those people.

I think having difficulty options is perfectly fine (and great) btw. I just wish people kind of knew design decisions that are intentional. But I think a lot of people are too prideful and would rather say it's the game's fault.
