I don’t mean to sound controversial, but a president shouldn’t be able to walk away from threatening to wipe out an entire civilization and then just…you know…keep being viewed as a normal president. Seems he should always be “the guy who threatened a genocide.” Anyway, sorry to ruffle feathers.

Methinks ruffling feathers enough to get people motivated is about the only thing the reasonable (normies? unculted? brain-dirty vs -washed? I don't know if there's a legit term for us) have left to mitigate the damage caused by Derp Führer and his Turd Reich.

Why are you sorry? How is that statement controversial? The USA needs a regime change to save democracy - the World itself demands it. It’s America’s great shame that WE aren’t agitating relentlessly for regime change ourselves. He is an abysmal disgrace whose presence disgraces every one of us.

Sorry, there’s no indication yet that he has stepped back from the threat. Just considerable speculation he will, and a lot of Republicans trotting out the “oh, he’s just bluffing” line.

The media machine is meanwhile egging him on, whatever individual politicians are doing.

If he backs down, every single mother-fucking Republican is going to go out there tomorrow laughing nervously with bloodshot eyes, haven't-slept-hair, and day-old clothes to tell various outlets, "HA HA HA! See, he played everyone, because that's what a deal maker does *slams back bottle of vodka*."
