No, it's pure authoritarianism. The opposite of democracy. From the point of view of people who value democracy, ALL authoritarian regimes are bad, both the one you want and the one Trump wants. We want to live somewhere where the PEOPLE decide, not the Central Party Committee OR the clerics.

1) western installed dictators (many post socialist or post social democracy- like Pinochet)
2) liberal capitalist democracies
3) bulwark against emerging socialism
