He never was'Presidential material'. But the people who voted for him had the same strains of stupidity... racism... hatreds... and awe of power.... that he has. While Trump is doing great damage to a country once thought of as 'great'.... Americans are wakening up to their own level of ignorance.

we have our own challenge with our government in my country along similar lines. We put people in power who should never be there. Our options are usually limited. I mean, the leader of a party and potential presidential candidate is chosen by a few and offered up to us.
