As a father it is my duty to protect and accept my child. Nomatter what. If your child says they are gay that should be a celebration that they even had the courage to speak it out loud in these times. Parents love your kids. No person should be shamed for that.

I agree as a mom (also a bi mom). Also, in my conservative family, I was actually groomed. They didn't care, only hated that I *gasp* got mad that I was expected to be kind to him.
I don't associate with that branch or let my daughter.

Holy moly, I could've written that. It's like the ultimate sin in those families to talk about it or go against them. They know it's wrong too and don't want to answer for thier cowardly complacency or have to change. I'm OK being the bad guy who's "depriving my child of grandparents"

I knew a kid in my class who got arrested for sexually abusing a kindergartener.

I dont care about your sexuality, as long as it doesn't hurt someone.
