Joking about rape is a tell actually. He dismissed allegations of sexual assault happening on 10/7. Rich, poor, right, left - rape is just something most men don't see as a problem or dealbreaker.

I feel similarly to him as I do Booker. They seem shitty but I agree with most of their positions.

I hate to be that girl, but I have a mistrust of men with public personas just because it always feels like a matter of time before the skeletons come out of the closet

I can understand being dubious of allegations made out of October 7 because distrusting Israeli news sources I think is probably a healthy media habit. Trust women, don't trust the IDF

We have to take the lesson to pedestal movements, not people. We can respect people insomuch as they are the vehicles for our causes. A person's failure is their own, but their failure is only the failure of the movement if they ARE the movement.

He did not dismiss allegations of rapes on 10/7, that’s a lie. He said that regardless of whether mass rapes occurred it doesn’t change the fact that Israel is an apartheid state committing genocide against Palestinians. He has said many times if a woman says she was raped he believes them

I mean, there were a lot of stories that came out of October 7 that ended up being unverifiable, e.g. babies in ovens, etc.
