The formula was so repetitive with those damn towers.. the plot sped up so much and then BAM another huge open area and ANOTHER ..

I know the feeling. But at the same time, I did need to take a four-month break from it cos I played too much in the month or so after release and burnt out. (When I returned I’d mostly focused on the main plot instead of doing side quests as well)

It’s a shame it’s so chunky i can’t have it installed all the time cos I do often have the urge to dabble in it for an hour tho. Just roam the world and beat up monsters

I've been replaying FF7 OG (never beat Sepharoth due to my neglect of grinding half my team 🙈), and just find myself enjoying it more playing in chunks with no pressure to finish ASAP. Just made it to the Golden Saucer. After all that's done, I'll replay Remake and finally play Rebirth

😍😍😍 that’s exciting. VII OG is a great size, especially these days, as the open world doesn’t feel toooooo huge, but still like a world worth exploring.
