Our very lives have been politicized, & to be non-political is exercising a privilege that many of us do not have. To be non-political is to expressly state that the current status quo does not negatively impact you & that you do not wish to improve things. It's the epitome of "Fuck you, I got mine"

I dont even think there is a turning point. The fact that some people can say they arent political is just them failing to recognize that they have the privilege of ignoring suffering

It's easy to be apolitical, when you're not a potential target.

mfs will say "no pawlitics" and call themselves shit like "neither left nor right" or "moderate centrist" but espouse predominantly right-wing beliefs and basically express fascist sympathy

The status quo is definitely political.
