Timothy Snyder recently reminded us that trump is a russian asset and has been since at least 2014. There is no other explanation for US policy to turn pro-Soviet in 2025, the most astonishing volte face since Molotov-Ribbentrop.

This would be a great time for an extra push from Europe. Ukraine making gains (even if small) on the battlefield, Russia facing a terrible recruitment crisis, Putin clearly afraid for his safety, the Baltic terminals burning merrily...
