Bowie - Day 10 πŸ’ŽπŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ

Just 2 years after introducing glam rock to a global audience, Bowie realized it was time to move on. Tonight's song features one of the most recognizable riffs in history – played by Bowie himself – this is his final Glam Rock anthem.

Thanks so much Dawn! πŸ’–

I couldn't agree more. There are just really no bad songs you can pick. πŸ˜€

Rebel Rebel was originally planned in late 1973 as part of an aborted Ziggy Stardust musical.

It was also his first hit since 1969 not to feature lead guitarist Mick Ronson; Bowie played guitar himself on this and almost all the other tracks on Diamond Dogs.

I had no idea either! You know what - I would never want to challenge any of us about any Bowie trivia after this month. πŸ˜€πŸ’–πŸ˜ΊπŸ€£

Got to see him live in the glass spider tour. 9/87. Was awesome.
If my brain cells that I didn't lose are correct I think he had Frampton in his band.
Sure wish I had bought a few concert t shirts, but they were like $10 or $15.
Who paid that much for t shirts. πŸ™„
That was like a case of beer money.

I saw him on the Glass Spider tour as well! It was really amazing. And yes you are completely correct about Peter Frampton. πŸ˜€

Compared to what merch cost back then to today - it seems like a real steal. 🀣

Have you seen any movies lately? We saw 12 by the end of March - April has NOTHING.
