Dumb but genuine question: When I was a kid I LOVED to read, you couldn't keep a novel out of my hands. But ever since college, I've found it difficult to read books because my mind wanders too much, is there anything I can do to like, fix that?

Also, start with shorter and easier reads. Reading is like exercise and as you grow stronger/gain more endurance, you can more easily approach longer, more challenging works, IMO

put your phone in another room and make space to read. this will be really annoying at first and you will want to just get up but eventually you'll re-adjust and be back at it again like the old days

Thank you, I'll give this a shot. 🙏 It feels silly and a little embarrassing to struggle with reading after being such an avid reader years ago, but hopefully I can get back into it.
