That’s what I was thinking — none of these people seem to have any real idea of how long it takes to work jointly towards a goal.

Threatening to completely annihilate the other side’s civilization is also a hard move to come back from.

JD Vance screwing up the talks is par for the course, but I'm convinced that they never really wanted the war to end. It's only going to end when Iran wants it to end, and it's clear they are not in the mood. Trump and his people are a bunch of short-sighted morons. The longer this war goes on,
