There is no where in our constitution that mentions a two-party system, pro or con but you know this.

The Constitution doesn't mention parties but they feared a two-party system would devolve into tyranny and political dysfunction.
The founders were - like all of us- fallible. The things about them that repulse us were norms for that time.

they voted down this ONE resolution so that it could be brought back to the floor and be amended to include ALL dark money.

The amended resoultion which included AIPAC and ALL dark money to be removed from politics PASSED overwhelmingly.

In a functional world, bringing it back works. Right now, we have one party actively tearing down global order and domestic institutions whole the other party can't seem to unite and rise to the occasion.
