They seem to think that showing individual instances of things not being racist (misogynistic, homophobic, etc) is the same as denying the reality of racism. Which is just...kinda the other side of the "How can you say we live in a racist country when we had a Black president?" coin.

This is part of the reason I have a relatively even distribution of genders in the organizations in my books without ever giving any reasoning for it. There doesn’t need to be a reasoning. It’s allowed to simply be that way. Fuck misogyny being the default.

At no point does anyone stand up and go "we are so progressive that all genders, sexualities and nationalities are welcome here!"

Nope, that is just the way the world works there.
Everyone is perfectly equal without an explanation needed.
