I think bullshit is a bit harsh. There's only one or two steps of news telephone that needs to be made before this is what you hear, something to which we've all likely fallen victim.

The problem is people rush to post stuff without vetting. Took me less than a minute to get clarification. And yes, I’ve fallen for BS that I wanted to be true. And I rightly feel I dumb and lazy when I do. And acknowledge it when corrected or called out. Harsh as that may seem.
