Everyone talks about bad lighting in new cars, but no one talks about paying attention to the idiots who install their bad custom lights in their shitboxes. in Europe, such a custom is very often illegal and you will rightly receive a fine for it, or even evacuation to a parking lot or a workshop

I'd love to put that on the back of my car. But. I wonder. How reflective is this with regular old halogens shining on it?

Unfortunately, that won't work very well. It will reflect light in a random direction. You need one made from retro-reflectors.

If it's placed on the bumper it'll be reflecting at people with properly aimed headlights and mostly leaving the dickwaffles that need to aim their headlights properly/in excessively tall vehicles alone.
