And so, while some people have theorized how Internet has invaded/contaminated real life, I'd posit the reverse it's true also actually!!!!

Platforms and our current web didn't came out of nowhere, but from a specific branch of capitalism evolving and being (I feel) at the heart of our issues.

Maybe we wouldn't have had all those platforms without that venture capitalism and what it funded over the last 20-25 years,

But honestly??? Maybe it would be for the better if we were still in the days of all doing our own personal webpages and nobody had cracked the code on ragebaiting, all that

I think we been heading in this direction for quiiiiite a while. Unfortunately, I think this basically started in the early 80s (late 70s?)

Sure not aaaaalll the world's problems are due to Reagan/Thatcher era, but they pushed a sort of capitalism!
