The GOP brought Evangelicals into politics in the late 70s/early 80s by changing their platform to reflect Xtian Nationalists beliefs: Get rid of Roe, no gay marriage, fear of the other, no sex ed (keep women barefoot & pregnant), etc. A higher ratio of Republicans are users, takers, & cheaters. IMO
