I can assure you I am not trolling. Sending Trump to ICC would merely make it a target for your GOP. When I say target, I mean actual target. The people of Europe would become responsible for your problem because your politicians are so weak. You couldn’t even jail him for 01/07.

Wouldn’t he need to be reported to the ICC by a country, just like South Africa did with Israel? If that’s the case, I bet you, no country would touch this with a barge pole.

the ICC isn't a European court, it's a global court, and it's not Europeans who are responsible for it. But more to the point, yes, it would be better for him to be tried in the US, and it's specifically because he *couldn't* be jailed for his crimes here that a global court becomes the next option.
