like it was so hard to break you had various journalists digging their teeth in, personally frustrated and refusing to give up, and it still was only eventually coverable as an episode in a podcast series bc we couldn’t materialize a direct enough victim in the most recent record

also do you have any idea what it’s like trying to get victims/survivors on record??? it involves endless furtive contacting of ppl you barely know to say, “uh, many consider this person a predator & their interactions w/ you appeared like they could’ve been in that zone. Would you go on record”

there’s 1 other way to get more people on record, and it’s the other thing that clueless ppl are calling shady here: you become an influencer in the general field or you get one on your side and post in detail abt firsthand experiences with wide reach & hope others see & say “omg it wasn’t just me”
