having to learn how to use a computer is cool and you can find anything on linux for anything but it is a little funny when a linux user yearns for widespread adoption yet hisses at any software thats closed source being ported over

this was always my issue with linux years ago because the community still has a handful of people in it that think they are "better than you" because they used a more inaccessible platform for years and those are usually the same people causing trouble now and not helping newcomers

that is definitely not the common crowd nowadays but i'm sure we'll see more of them show up trying to turn people away or tell them they're wrong for failing to understand something immediately. unfortunately that comes with the territory of something niche turning to something popular
