I had an old friend on Facebook who had gone hard trumper, and I would debate with them out of respect. this person wasnt particularly intellectual and they swallowed every bit of MAGA/MAHA propaganda. they would start getting ad hominem with me and I would check them since we were still old friends

they kept going with the ad hominem and I told them to check it because they were crossing a line, and ended up unfriending them due to the disrespect.

anyways about two weeks later I found out they suddenly and unexpectedly died.
