I have come to the conclusion that none of our laws, institutions or any other guard rails were actually real. It was all a mirage. If they were real and viable, then they would be helping us right now. No one is using them. They’re not using them because apparently they’re not real.

It was ignored from literally day 1 of his first term. It being completely ignored is one of the things that made me realize we weren’t really living under a Constitutional order any more.
