I'm getting to the point where there are no new films I want to see, and so I sort of have to pick up 2025 films I'm obliged by due diligence to see but have no interest in.

Anyone want to convince me that THE LOVE THAT REMAINS or ROMERÍA aren't a drag?

Support Icelandic cinema and watch THE LOVE THAT REMAINS! I at least loved it and am sure you’ll find *something* of value in it. Didn’t you like GODLAND and A WHITE WHITE DAY?

I liked AWWD, but GODLAND not so much, as I recall.

I liked but didn’t love both, LOVE THAT REMAINS in particular is pretty lovely and strange (haven’t caught up with any other Hlynurs)
