"Sweetest" sounds like Dementia Don pulled inspiration out of an email from Epstein to Trump about little girls for him to choose from when he wrote that.

Because he promised the oil exec he would take care of the, if they gave him a billion dollars for his campaign.

Because gas prices are global, and globally there is a shortage. US suppliers *could* charge less, but capitalism you know.

Paying over 6 even if I could use 87 octane. I wish it was over 4

Paid six yesterday. Amazing that others are paying 4. I understand it's up for everyone.

Well, that would be exactly why. The more empty tankers fill up with oil we export, the smaller the domestic supply, and therefore, the higher the price. The real reason, though, is that oil is a very fungible commodity with basically one worldwide price.

The export business pre war was good for keeping O&G functioning at healthy levels as long as oil was $70+. They could manage risk, and it helped keep them alive here. That helps keep prices low here when the rest of the oil market is functioning. Oil is very much a “we’re trapped here together.”

Meanwhile we pay outrageous prices for fuel. Am I missing something?
