Healthcare in the US is punitive on so many levels. Particularly towards women, though the skyrocketing insurance premiums are affecting all.

I know this sounds crude,oh well. The only thing old impotent men know about female anatomy is breasts and vaginas. This is who is writing laws invalidating women's autonomy over their body. Until there are ppl with knowledge and compassion writing laws,women will have to fight for their health.

And it's nothing new. In the 70s before RvW my wife had a miscarriage while I was in the military in Alabama. Despite being in a military hospital on federal land, state officials had to come and verify it wasn't an abortion before she could be discharged.
