My newest ceramics piece. The simple geometric shape is something I'm comfortable with. The multilayered calico finish was a stretch for me, but I'm happy I tried something different.

I like how vibrant the colors are. At first glance I thought this was a recycled plastics piece, that blue really pops!

One of my friends from the studio said it reminded him of papier mache, and i think that, and recycled plastic are both pretty good descriptors
