He's the only one left, outside of Porter, that can do the job IMO. Either would be fine. Some say Porter has a temper, I don't think that's a disqualifier these days.

Post Swalwell, Becera has a small window. CA Dems are calling for anyone under 5% polling to drop out. He's the only candidate I've donated to, but didntvhear from him until a month later. Suboptimal campaign.

He's got no media presence, kind of like when he was at HHS, where he did a decent job, but no recognition - covid was still an issue! Steyer has the best and most ads. I liked Porter in Congress, but she has no media presence either. Debates? None that I know of. What are they doing?!?

One person i just talked with suggested/surmised that Becerra heard something about this story and has been holding off big ad buys. I can only hope that’s the case, but *many* of these campaigns have been pretty weak so far.
