spare some thoughts for the trans adults who don't even feel they're welcome in queer spaces?

Try senior queer space. We have a thing called "Out to Brunch" for 55+LGB and theoretically T people. I got cornered and told "There is no such thing as trans kids, and that trans people prey on confused gay and lesbian teens." This was from a GAY MAN in a theoretical safe space. I am trans.

Those kinds of people make me want to support the LGB-T divorce. Bigoted cis queers are the actual rot, not us.

it really feels isolating having grown up outside the anglosphere, where being gay was illegal, and being trans wasn't even a thing I knew was possible until I went to college in the west. And because of this I don't really have any common language with other queer people
