The Life in the UK test is both very easy and very silly. Not as silly as the practice questions you'll find online, but I don't think it is a good test of either Britishness or understanding of Britain

The test is offensive.
It is not about living in the UK but about memorising answers to pointless questions, designed only to satisfy small special interest groups.
"Under which monarch were the legal systems of England and Wales merged?"
After 45 years, how the feck does this help me live here?

I am the kind of dingus who thinks history is important to know, to understand where we are and how we got here, so that part bothered me the least. 😂

And that question: Anne, I presume? Although you could also argue it hasn’t fully happened yet. Surprisingly thought-provoking.
